Busy, busy, busy

My Dad retired early, like Bob and I.  After he'd been retired a few years, I remember him saying, "Jan, I don't know how I had time to work!  I'm so busy, it's unreal."  Now, that I've been retired for awhile, I totally understand.

Last month at the Parkinson's Support Group, one of the young men with Parkinson's asked if I've ever considered making a DVD, of the exercises I lead for the group.  He said he always felt great after doing them.  He obviously didn't know that I have no idea how to make a DVD, none at all.  After I got home, I thought, "Well, no DVD, but you know how to make a video, and post it on YouTube."

I did a couple of practices and decided I really did needed some help.  I enlisted Bob, to click the start button of my little point and shoot, and do the narration.  This set of exercises is the same set I use in my regular Tai Chi class.  Tai Chi is the best exercise for Parkinson's patients, and loads of other people!  If you're interested, here's the video:

It took several times to get this "right".  Once, some military helicopters flew over, very low.   Once Dudley wandered by, and lifted his leg to pee.  Once Bob had some technical difficulties!  But we got 'er done, now, now on to the next project.
Thanks for stopping by and sharing my life with me,
