A Catch Up

There hasn't been a whole lot that's exciting going on at the Prytz house.  Nothing exciting but we've been extremely busy. I remember my Dad telling me, when I was in my 40's, "I'm so busy, I don't know how I had time to work!"  That's about the size of it.

We've decided to go on a Transatlantic Cruise, next year, for our 50th anniversary.  Only 369 days, until departure.

Tomorrow, May 2, is our 49th.  We're "celebrating", and I use that term very loosely, by Bob having surgery to repair his torn meniscus in his right knee.  The arthroscopic surgery was scheduled mid April, but at the last minute, we were already at the surgery center, all systems GO,  when the anesthetist decided Bob needed to have the procedure in a regular hospital.  The surgery is at Loma Linda Hospital, Murrieta, tomorrow.

I still volunteer to teach Tai Chi twice a week in my community, and now once a month I attend the Parkinson's Support Group at the Murrieta Senior Center and lead some Tai Chi exercises.  At the last meeting one of the younger men asked if I'd ever thought of making a DVD of the exercises, and selling them.  I told him, truthfully, that I'd never thought of doing that.  After I got home I got to thinking, maybe I could post a video of the exercises on YouTube.  I'm in the planning stages of doing just that.  I hope I can pull it off.

I've started Water Aerobics, at our community pool.  The classes are three times a week.  It's pretty much kicking me in the butt!  I'm sticking with it, because I know how much good it will do me.  Before I worked at B&N, I went faithfully, that was more than 12 years ago.  I'm not a swimmer but this is something I can do for myself.

The photos are from my last visit to the San Diego Zoo, mid April.  We go to San Diego 2 or 3 times a month.  Twice a month Bob gets infusions, which can take 2 to 5 hours, so I frequently go to the zoo.  You can tell it's Spring, the peacock is really strutting his stuff.  I threw in the rear view, just for fun.
Thanks for stopping by and sharing my life with me,
