World Book Night

I signed up ages ago, to be a Giver for World Book Night.  The first World Book Night was last year in England, this year it came to America.  All over the U.S., tonight, Giver's are giving away free books.  Saturday  I picked up my box at B&N,


When I signed up, I gave them my top three choices, and I got The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien.  It's one of my favorite books.  The books were a special printing donated by the publisher.  I snapped a photo as soon as I opened the box.


Isn't that a great cover, and it says World Book Night U.S. 2012.  I wore the T-shirt I made.


I gave my 20 books away in 15 minutes.  It was such fun.  I wish I had more to give away.

    I've not heard of the World Book Night. Is it just for booksellers?
