Strip Club, today

I drove to Cozy Quilt Shop, in El Cajon, this morning at the crack of dawn.  Strip Club starts at 8:30 AM and you have to be there by 8 AM if you even hope to get a seat.  I got up at 5 AM, showered, fed the dogs and myself. and was out the door by 6:30, just to be sure I was on time, it's an hour and 15-20 min. drive, if there's no traffic.  Hate to be late for anything.

I'm not complaining it was totally worth it.  The quilt above shows the fabulous new pattern, Braidwork, we got for free, today.  Just show up, get an new original pattern for free.  That's one of the joys of Strip Club.

Another joy of Strip Club is seeing what other quilters have been up to, during the Show and Tell section of Strip Club.  See the man in the top left photo, with the purple quilt?  That's his first quilt!  His wife bought him his own sewing machine because she was tired of hearing him bitch about how she was cutting up fabric, just to sew it back together!

His wife's quilts are the center 2, in the bottom row.
