A call for help

Quilters are, as a rule, very giving. Bumble Beans is asking for donations of a single quilt block. She'll complete a donation quilt for their auction in Sept. to benefit Basics Inc., who aid the homeless in NYC. If you can help, here's what she wants:

I'd like to invite all of you who care to help to make me one

10 1/2" HOUSE block.
sewn down will be 10"

****
please note:

ONLY block style HOUSE BLOCKS

I'm sorry, NO WONKY HOUSE BLOCKS
just a straight up block style house, please, for a overall uniform look.

YOUR CHOICE ON FABRICS. Hit the scrap bins!

If you'd like to make the one I designed, let me know I'll mail out or email the pattern.

So, if you want to help, go over to her blog, and leave a comment. I really like her sample, so I asked her to email me the pattern.

  1. I'm going right over there and ask for the pattern also. This should be fun. Thanks for thinking about blogging it so we all could enjoy the fun.
