Elvis

Elvis Presley should have turned 75, last week. At the bookstore we're playing an Elvis CD, as an in-store play, and the younger (under 40) booksellers just don't get it. I think my daughters would "get it"; they were raised on Rock and Roll.

In today's Los Angeles Times, there's a column about this photo and how it came to be. If you "get it", click here to read Faye Fiore's great writing. Times sure have changed, and her column spotlights the great differences between 2010 and 1970. HUGE differences.

  3. Yes, Jan, huge differences. But when I think about it I don't think I'd want to see Elvis at 75... would you? :)
