Baby Quilt

A couple of weeks ago, I ran into an old friend, Vicky. We hired at B&N, the same day, almost 9 years ago. About 3 years ago she met the man of her dreams, got married, and is now expecting their first baby, a boy. I told her that I'd just started quilting and would love to make her baby a quilt. She liked the idea, but stipulated that it not be "bright". (I think she knows me!)

This is the quilt I made for Vicky's baby. The fabric is called "Blue, Simply Baby", and I thought it was perfect. I backed it with a soft bunny rabbit flannel. I can't wait to give it to her.
