NYC,

I had a great flight from Long Beach to JFK.  JetBlu took us on a northern route, to avoid rough weather.  We even got to JFK a half an hour early, at 5:30PM, then I had to wait for SuperShuttle.  I got to my hotel just b/4 8PM!  I dumped my bags in my room and went out to grab a bite to eat.  I always try to be "home" b/4 dark, when I travel alone.

I finished the book I was reading, The Interestings by Meg Wolitzer, while I was in the air.  I really enjoyed it.  It skillfully follows a group of friends, from their teens to their fifties, no small feat.

I'm trying out the blogger app on my iPad.  The photo was just taken from my hotel window, with the iPad.  Not great, but it's a photo.
