Dudley

This is our great boy, Dudley.  We rescued him 10 years ago, when he was 3, he's now 13, and has become terribly arthritic.  When we took him to the vet for his rabies shot.  The vet, who we like, really pushed giving him pain drugs.  Bob and I agreed not to do that.

(Here he his looking at a rabbit in the backyard.  We didn't let him out.
He's not at killer, so the rabbit might have won!)

Recently on one of the blogs I read, Michelles' Little Piece of Heaven, Michelle blogged about her arthritic cat, and asked for suggestions.  There were some great suggestions from her readers, and today I ordered two different products to try and help Dudley.

Berte from River Bend Farm, suggested LubriSyn.  It's different formulas are for people, pets and horses!
Elle from A View From The Cottage, suggested Nzymes.  It's is made from sprouted soybeans and rice bran. It helps the animal to produce synovial fluid which lubricates the joints as well as conditions the joints in general.

Both of these ladies, are "country", rather than city, and I'm taking their advice.  Here's hoping these two products give Dud, some help.
Thanks for stopping by and sharing my life with me,

  2. Poor Dudley, hope those more natural methods will help. They sound much better than giving the little guy drugs and hope you can do without them.
