Flashback Friday


This is a LONG time ago, 1964, and we are newlyweds.  This was taken in my parents frontyard.  Do you love the flip hairstyle and the cats-eye glasses?  My dress is homemade, as were most of my clothing, in the 50's, 60's and 70's.  After that, fabric became expensive and I could purchase ready made for less money than homemade.

    I always loved this style dress...1964 is the year I graduated from HS. Good Year!

    Great flashback share. Did you notice the pose is much like the recent one you shared of the 2 of you? Love that lasts is a wonderful thing to be a part of!

    Great photo Jan. I'm impressed with your homemade dress. You must have been a very talented seamstress. I used to make my own clothes but you could tell they were home made I think ;)
