Family

I have a wonderful family.  My Aunt Vicky, fifth from the left, bottom row, host as many of the Davis/Davies family, who'll come, each July, around the 4th.  This year there were 43 adults and 4 children.  The kids couldn't be rounded up for the group photo, they were having too much fun in the pool.  You can see them in the collage, soaking wet.

We gather from all over the country, mostly from California, northern and southern, some from AR, AZ, OK.  This year the IN and NC contingents didn't make it.  There are always non-family members, but someone has chosen to include them, so they become family, and usually return, year after year.

And because we're not a serious bunch, here are my nephew Spencer's shoes, designed by his wife, Yuki.  They're 2nd and 3rd from the right in the group photo.  After all, it takes a real man to wear pink!
