I had a great morning today. I hiked part of the Santa Rosa Plateau. Above, I tried out the self timer on my point and shoot. I ended up getting wet, socks, shoes and jeans, boy did I have fun.
This windmill is one of reasons I go out there, you can see if from the road, but have to hike off the regular trail to get close to it. Today, one of the streams was too wide to hop over, so I stepped right in!
That just looks like too much stinkin fun!
ReplyDeleteOh what looks like a beautiful day! I'd hike with you because I would try to get that windmill back in my car. I have been looking for one for years ro put iin the yard. My kids swear that they will never come to visit if I do. Wouldn't that look great covered in morning glories? Sounds like you had a great day. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI wish I lived near you because that is a beautiful hiking spot! My hiking partner has already quit for the season since we saw a 4 foot snake last week.
