Last night was a good one. We went to a late afternoon movie, dinner and were home in time to watch the Dodgers. They got creamed, but what the hey.
The movie was District 9. If you know me you know I'm not a Sci Fi fan, but I have to agree with this synopis from RottenTomatoes: "Technically brilliant and emotionally wrenching, District 9 has action, imagination, and all the elements of a thoroughly entertaining science-fiction classic." Bob, the sci-fi guy that he is, love it, but surprise, and so did I.

We're hoping for a sequel.
We also viewed the trailer for Shutter Island, adapted from the Dennis Lehane's novel. Can't wait for it.
