Today

We had a good day, our 45th anniversary. I worked in the morning, shelving books, when I got home, Bob and I went to our regular Saturday haunts, the Murrieta Farmer's Market and The French Valley Airport Cafe'. I discovered the cafe' while I was on Jury duty, the court is right next to the airport. We enjoy watching the small planes coming and going; many of them just fly in for lunch. And we enjoy the food, it's good and they make their own potato chips, to order. Everything is fresh, nothing is fast.

This was the sky, when we got to the airport.

We had dinner, tonight at the Red Lobster, Bob's choice. This handsome group was nice enough to pose for me, it's their Prom Night. Aren't they beautiful and handsome?

Talking to the young people triggered a conversation for us about whether either of us went to the Prom, when we were in high school. I didn't go to any Proms, and Bob says he doesn't remember, but he thinks he did. We both remember going to the All-Night Dance, a Long Beach ritual.

We had more beautiful skies on our way home.

Hope you had a great day, too.

  1. Gorgeous sky there. The color of the plane is very attractive. Red lobster is one of my favorite restaurants. I am sure you enjoyed the fellowship and the food. Hope you have a wonderful week Jan.
